Free from addictions

This unique work presents a positive and practical focus, not only in the face of drugs, other addictions and their aftermath, but also promotes and facilitates self-control over human addictive tendencies. Drugs, both legal and illegal, are not the only things that can be addictive. Many other objects, behaviors, and situations can lead to addictions: gambling, sex, work, television, and violence. Therefore, it is worth it to place a greater emphasis on addiction itself, that is: on what all dependency has in common. From there, we can learn to overcome it.
